I think Taypo was making a parallel statement, drawing dark humor into the question by showing how disagreeable the premise is in the first place.

To many of us, asking us, "On Obamacare, do you like it?" is about the same as asking, "In prison, do you like it?"

In both instances, the respondent is forced by law into a most unpleasant, likely unbearable situation, and then is asked how he likes it.

"Tantalus, are you hungry yet?" would be a similar question. Or perhaps this one:
