I don't know why the Chronicle decided to alter their story to leave out that detail.
Yeah, I wonder????

Ok, no, I don't as it's a big city news paper. The answer is obvious.

I carry my DL, CHL, debit card and cash in small wallet in my front pocket. They want my thick wallet with no cash, company credit cards they can have it. But like a sign I have on my door reads, there is nothing in this house worth dying over, but everything in it is worth killing over.

That's all it would take in my book; if somebody who just robbed me at gunpoint turns toward me again, I'm not going to wait to see why he's turning.
Three in the chest pretty well settles which way he was facing at the time, too.

I think we can figure out why.
Same reason that the crowbar that one of the "undoccumented workers" approached Joe Horn with vanished.
Amagine that

im surprised no one mentioned that fact that as a CHL holder, the vitcim should of had this license with him (and probably in the wallet he just gave the BG). For all he knew, the BG was turning around to kill him after seeing his CHL license while going through the victims wallet, that he just stole.

great point G23... i was first thinking that since the guy had walked off that the "threat" was no longer there, and this would be labeled a bad shoot, but i now see several possible ways that this could be heavily defended in court...

You discharge your weapon until all movement stops, because you fear for your life or another life, not to kill.
Is the result usually death? Yes.

Now that's a great thought, if true, can you amagine what the BG was thinking when he saw the CHL?, "Ooopppss, Just messed up",

I also thought you could use deadly for to prevent the escape of someone who just did an armed robbery or other "violent" crimes
anyone want to look it up? Still without immediate fear of your life it still could be a very slippery slope
