No this was stupid. There is no ground swell to disarm older folks and what UPI reporter is going to call a 60 year old elderlly. Obama might be a socialist but he has enough brains to know that he can't just make executive orders and make new laws. One thing he can not afford to do right now is to alienate a significant segment of his Democratic allies in Congress.casingpoint wrote:Telling thing was, it came as no surprise. We all understand that Obama is not a friend to the RKBAs. but he doesn't make the laws. While there are those who believe that to be a socialist one has to be real stupid. Obama isn't stupid, he wants to stay in power and he knows that he has to choose his battles. He won't jeopardize his socialistic agenda buy getting into a fight that he could easily lose.
