Given the extreme small amount of business that the sole FFL in DC has, I don't think the $125 is all that unreasonable. How many guns does a regular TX gun store sell in a year? This guy in DC has moved 550 units due to the insane amount of red tape and hoops to jump through. So he's made about $6K in a year operating his FFL business. I'd have to make about 20x that much in order to make it a lucrative idea to move to DC and set up shop.

Anyway, the whole thing is a complete ripoff, sham, and a mess. It's about like DC thinks they are a different country.

Actually 550 X 125 is more like 68k.

But I agree 100% with the last line of your assessment.

I do hope he keeps the gun and more importantly open his eyes to understand his rights and why they are all important. It doesn't matter if he never has to use the gun for defense. What matters is that he is now able to fight back if it ever happens. He is on the path from servant to free man if he will continue to truly be open minded and refuse to allow the progressive lie to control his life.

I looked at the whole article/exercise as a small step in the right direction.

My bad... :) Still it's not enough to get anyone to likely set up another FFL, given that you'd be likely splitting business with this guy. He's not the bottleneck.
