I don't think it is as good as the show at George R Brown which is in two weeks.

Keep yer eyes peeled for one of the Rossi Ranch Hand lever action pistols.

Announced at last year's SHOT show, production was supposed to have started last month.

Found a few people on forums that claim to have already bought one.

Well, no luck on the PMR-30. I did see 1 Kel-Tec RFB, but the seller wanted $1800 for it, which was way out of my shopping limit. We ended up leaving with some bee jerkt, which is already gone  , and a SOG Armory stripped lower. It wasn't the Spikes Limited Edition Zombie Hunter stripped lower I wanted, but I was very impressed with the manufacturing quality of the SOG lower. Plus, it was only $100, and I like to support local shops. I'm planning on building it out with a Del-Ton kit with Magpul MOE furniture.

There was one seller who had completely assembled Del-Ton M-4's with the MOE stocks for sale for $689, complete with hard case. Pretty good deal, but I really want to build my own.

There were a few decent deals to be found, just not on anything I really needed. Lots of good prices on Ruger Mark III's which I do want, but an M4 is higher on the list. Lots of C&R type firearms for sale. Some were good prices, and some were marked up outrageously.

Elaborate on you opinion please. I like them both but I think the Reliant show is a lot bigger. I do frequent the George R. Brown show more because it is multiple times a year not just twice.

I like the size and the vender choices at GRB. It is big enough to get a good selection and not so big that some good stuff can get overlooked.

We molested the same RFB. I was surprised by the weight of the RFB since it's made by Kel-Tec

I really love all the "Buy a S12 bc they will be outlawed Monday" signs

Was that you who would let it go? :-)

Same here. I was impressed by the quality and how compact it is but not very fond of its weight.

Quite some vendors are selling USED M14 magazines for $25. I can order new ones for $24 plus free shipping.

I couldn't see myself run a weekend class with it. KelTec is a look at this kinda purchase IMO

It's too heavy for my taste but really nice piece of machinery.

The Reliant show was definitely much bigger, I saw a lot of the same vendors from the GRB show but there seemed to be more older/collector's stuff at HGCA's show... which is why my dad and I went. I'm not all that interested in new guns, other than the few that I own for home defense and hunting purposes. I prefer older guns and war memorabilia. By far my favorite part of the show was getting to meet and talk to Lt. Col. Dick Cole.

Thanx for your input. I did not get a chance (made myself stay home so I would not spend money) to make it to the show this weekend. I like how HUGE that show is, but usually everyone is scouring for a deal and they can be hard to find. I'm not really into old firearms b/c there are so many variations and little quirks on each piece that unless you know exactly what you are looking at you could get taken by an older/wiser vendor. So I stay away from very old or limited production items unless I am very educated on them.
