Pistol and Ammo Compatibility

I come from the cheap group of CHL holders. MY first pistol was a Sigma. It handled every kind of ammo. I bought a Taurus pt-111. It was finicky about ammo until a spring change. A Taurus 24/7 is sweet as is. My S@W snubbie really barks with any ammo. I've begun using cheaper ammo again. We'll see.
