Agreed,

They do align all the cartridges in one direction and they make it less likely you'll drop any, but "speedy"...nope!
+1.

LT, that's a sweet little set-up.
You're carrying both the Taurus and a .45? I think you'll be fine. (Thugs would be wise not to mess with that preacher.)

I try to remind people that get paranoid about guns & ammo that thousands of American gun owners didn't kill anyone yesterday. It has more to do with the calibar of your soul than that of your gun.

The number of gun owners is closer to 80 million. If you google "number of gunowners in US" (w/o the quotes) it returns tons of info.

Morning range report on Taurus 85
It was misting rain, slight wind, & real muddy. The range is 7 miles from my house. In the nasty morning mess I did not spend long. As I type it has been 1 hr & 5 minutes since I left the house. That includes loading up, shooting, round trip, putting all gear away, & taking the pics. The gun no doubt will shoot better than I did today. Flint, that brings us back to our discussion of a wheel gun shoot. We both need some trigger time & a lot of fellowship time. ;-)

Ten shots, standing, 2 hands, 3 yds. 4" circle. 6:00 hold

Ten shots, standing, 2 hands, 7 yds. 4" circle. 6:00 hold. One  at 7:00. 2" out.

5 shots, standing, 2 hands, single action, 15 yds. First time I have shot it at 15 yds. 4" circle. 6:00 hold. Ill still call it a keeper. :headscratch huuummmm, since I name all of um, that just might stick. Yep, Keeper it will be.

First Sunday in the tuckable rig. I like it. Easy enough to protect w/ elbow when carried at 3:00. Even Mom said she did not find it & she knows.
1.25 belt & the only thig that shows is the tip of the holster clip & you really have to look close. Anyone who sees that will be able to spot the rig.
I get to it faster than I thought I would.
I guess I am looking for a high ride belt holster now.

Thank you VP. I will use that w/ your permission. More to do w/ the caliber of your heart than your gun.

I don't mind. Honored.
