I had completely forgotten that they were even voting on it. I wonder what the chances of them gaining statehood are? Adding a new state sure would be interesting... I wonder how much campaigning the 2016 presidential candidates would feel like they'd need to do there "to show our newest citizens how important they are" :mrgreen:

Well they do have good food and nice resort communities.

What would it take to make California, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois into territories?
Original CHL: 2000: 56 day turnaround
