All I know is that they are stainless steel, but I don't know the details of type or hardness. He says they are pretty hard because we were talking about what it would take to put his brand on them. He is learning now how to forge his own blades from barstock, but for the moment, he buys the shaped blanks and small parts from a supplier, makes the micarta himself, assembles the knives, and puts the edge on them. He's also designing some kydex sheaths.Abraham wrote:Gorgeous knives!

He hadn't really thought about it until he saw your question, and his answer to me just now was, "I don't know about a website, at least not for a while. I don't think I could keep up with orders, unless I just made what I wanted and sold them instead of taking requests. We'll see."Paul's Shield wrote:that is pretty impressive. Excellent craftmanship. Does he have a website?
My son says it is 440C Stainless Steel.Abraham wrote:Gorgeous knives!

You also gave in interesting lesson in how perspective chances [sic] one's perception of an object.
Yes - when I saw the first photo of the bread knife, I thought "What kind of bread is she going to cut with that, bread sticks?"The Annoyed Man wrote: ...
