It's gorgeous!

I've been pondering an AK, but given my bone on bone shoulder joints, I'm embarrassed to ask: Is the recoil similar to an M14?

If so, I won't be able to tolerate it.

My bone doc says I'm not YET a candidate for bionic shoulders and I wasn't smart enough to ask him what would make me a candidate...

It does! Alas I my project to put one of those handguards on a Zastave M92 pistol is still sitting on the shelf, but if/when I get to it, it will probably look even more like a H&K/Kalashnikov love child. ;-)

It needs to be shorter, and there is a natural point at which cutting it looks like would be a good fit, but as I said I've been distracted. Will post when I go ahead with it.

That looks really cool. I like the slim hand guard also.

How hot does that gas block rail on top get? Maybe I should ask how hot can you get a red before it causes problems.
