Erik,

Thank you for sending us the photographs of the pistol. We have reviewed them and will proceed with bringing in the firearm to correct the issue. Before I set up a work order, I will need the serial number of the firearm as I was unable to make it out clearly from the photo. The work order will take around three weeks, you will receive a pre-paid shipping label via email with instructions on how to send us the firearm.

Thank you.
So looking good,,,, 3 weeks for a work order?? I can only hope that is the whole process timeline, not just waiting on a shipping label.
As I recall, that's about what it took when I had to send my P938 in. I called & it took about a week to get the email. When I sent it, it too about 2 days travel - they had it a week - 2 more days travel & I had it back. From the time I called until I had the repaired pistol back was approximately 3 weeks. :tiphat:

The person you dealt with on the phone would have annoyed me as well but at least they acted properly once they had the photos in hand. Now excuse me while I go look over my P238 ;-)

Mr. Marquez,

Our gunsmiths have reviewed the damage to your pistol and have decided to go ahead and replace the firearm with a brand new p238. To complete this process we will need FFL/dealer information, so we can send the new firearm to them. Please let us know who you are choosing for your FFL, provide us with this information and we will get the issue resolved.

Thank you.

But hey, they did right by the customer concern out of good will as much as tangible warranty issue.

I'd keep at least one H&K and one CZ as a backup if I'd plan on SIG exclusively :cheers2:

Guns can be sold? How does that work...... I thought it was Man law, once in the safe they could only come out to play, not change hands.

Survey Says....

Shes a keeper, new Sig as well. :biggrinjester:
Picked it up from FFL (Thank you Texas Start Shooting range, though I had hoped as a member they would waive the transfer fee)
300 rounds of target FMJ, 100 rds SD ammo... Used all three mags, not a hiccup to report.
I wish Sig would respond and provide an opinion on the cause....even if they think it likely from damage caused by us.
