Bill Gates did not write the code for the original IBM PC DOS. Bill negotiated a contract with IBM to supply the operating system for their new personal computer. Bill then purchased it from someone else for $50,000. Xerox invented the dropdown menu. The Apple Macintosh first used graphic screens that overlaid each other.

Microsofts failures are easy to hide when 90% of computers use the IBM PC architecture which requires their operating system. I downloaded Windows 10 for free last month, my computer still has not fully recovered.

I suspect if we had waited for socialist or communist economies to develop things we would still be using horses for transportation.

Bill Gates gives a $4.8 Million grant to company to make smart masks for cows to record data and reduce the cows methane emissions to save the Earth from climate change. He apparently likes to eat meat and doesn't want cows to be completely eliminated in the future as a food source.
