Supposed to snow tonight, schools have already canceled. I wonder how or when they will make up all these bad weather days?

Up where my yankee carpetbagger parents forced me to grow up, they call this early summer.

My daughter's spring break is next week. And they get out for Good Friday and Monday after Easter.

Our spring break is next week. We lost Good Friday off because of bad weather days. But school is closed again tomorrow.

It only took me 40 minutes to get to work this morning on a drive that normally takes 7-10 minutes. About 4" of snow on top a sheet of ice.

Looks like we had a visitor during the night. Given it was 55 yesterday I didn't believe I would wake up to this.

It might have been 55 at some point yesterday, but it was down to 33 when I went to pick up my daughter at school. We also got about that much snow and school was cancelled last night.

You can hope...but don't hold your breath yet. Going down to 20 here tonight so they are saying there will be a major refreeze on the secondary roads. The melting will be slow especially for the areas that got what appears to be 6-7 inches (including drifting). Up here they are saying the high today will be anywhere from 34 to 39 depending on which forecast I look at. :waiting:
