Yeah, that news has been out for a while, actually last month a Dallas counsel proposal was brought up to do the same. Don’t know if it ever went anywhere though

I have both battery powered and gas trimmers and blowers.
Battery works fine for small quick jobs. But they just don’t have the power for the serious stuff.
