Just finished reading a few articles. Pretty sad. The house was apparently accessible after the suspect climbed a high spiked wall and entered an unlocked door. There were several calls to the police to report the burglary but they were not able to access the house due to the high wall and locked gates. They even flew a helicopter over the house and saw no signs of a break in?????? That makes no sense. And 4 days later they make a welfare check?

Lots of lessons to learn here. Keep your doors locked. Get an alarm. Get a dog. Carry a firearm.
