Tommy gun

Post by phddan »

Any one else around here own a Tommy gun? Having problems with my 50rd drum not feeding. Haven't found a Tommy gun forum yet.

Find you a training manual on them. Could be lots of different things!

50 round drums were notorious for feeding problems.

I had a couple for one of the Thompsons in my armory, aboard ship, in the Navy. We stuck to the stick magazines because they were reliable and fit both the (one) M1928 and the M1A1s.
