Influencer shoots self while making instructional video

Looks like this happened July 30th... Don't know much more than what is below and in the news station video in the link below. So not sure who the "influencer" is and the video was not uploaded to social media.

A Lincoln, Nebraska, wannabe influencer had his girlfriend film him while instructing his followers on how to properly handle a newly purchased 9mm pistol.

Then while racking the gun, and ignoring multiple rules of firearm safety (treat every gun like it's loaded, know where your gun is pointing, and keep your finger off the trigger), his pew pew went pew right through his leg.

Apparently the bullet went through the guy's femoral artery, and despite emergency surgery, the influencer remained in critical but stable condition.

Let's pray he makes it.

Oddly enough, even without uploading the video and the anonymity of the influencer's identity, the accident has garnered more attention than if he hadn't shot himself. Hopefully, it will draw some attention to gun safety too.
