I get up to the gate, and the security guard sort of points their wand at my sister and then waves her through, then the other security guard wands my left pocket and it goes nuts--had a wad of keys in there. Didn't ask me to take them out or anything. Then the right pocket, just below my holstered 229. It goes nuts again, had my cell phone there. Again didn't ask me to empty my pockets. Neither time did they even ask what was in my pockets.
Then they just waved me in.

So there it is.
What's the point of all that security?
Maybe the fact I was pushing a stroller with my 2 year old in it helped.
While I appreciate the fact that I didn't get held up at the gate, I was grateful having my firearm knowing that anybody can get in with one.
*sigh*
