I have one of these: http://www.wrbss.com/maho.html and it's great! It was given to me by a friend and fellow CHL forum member. Now, I can't imagine it not being there.
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Just out of curiosity, do you prefer it here over a bedside drawer or table top? Do you not have a bedside table of some kind? Just trying to get the idea.

Yes, I have a bedside table. The holster is setup just like the picture but hangs between the bed and table. There is plenty of room for me to get my hand down to it. Now my daily swing at the alarm clock is unobstructed.

Just FYI......

It is not a good idea to put your pistol on a bedside table top or in the drawer if you are a sound sleeper..........

Nothing worse that waking up to a BG that has YOUR pistol pointed at you!
