Carrying in a Commercial Vehicle

Post by hemiman »

I drive a truck for a living and I have heard some say with the CHL you can carry in a truck and I have heard others say that you can't carry in a truck because of Federal Motor Carriers rules and regulations.

The federal motor vehicle thing is wrong, and a myth.

Some carriers tell their drivers that so they won't carry.

Usually there's company policy against carrying in a commercial vehicle. If you don't transport anything through any "Non-Free" states, you'd be fine.
