Can it be done?

The day I took my CHL class, it was blistering cold and raining.
When it was time to shoot, we did it outdoors.

My problem is, that in the photos taken it really looks like a mug shot!

They took good pictures, not fault to the instructor.
They are acceptable as far as DPS is would be concerned.
Im not thinking I look fat or im not smiling, thats not it!
I look like a thug in my photo!

So.. Can I get the photos retaken, resigned by the fingerprint guy before I submit my packet?

I plan on contacting my instructor, I dont know if the CHL instructors retain a photo, do they?

You can get your photos retaken anywhere that takes passport photos. Walgreens, Walmart, anywhere. There is nothing special about the photos taken in the class. But then, you have to find your fingerprinter to get them signed.

CHL instructors, as a rule, do not keep photos of students. I use a digital camera, so I have them until they are deleted from the camera, but that's all.

BTW, you wouldn't be the first one to have a CHL that looks like a mug shot, or a serial killer, or an escaped lunatic. So, I wouldn't sweat it too much.

How did you see my picture?

Marty and Linda's camera must cause that phenomenon to happen. While I am not the best looking guy in the world, I look like the wanted poster of Sirius Black in Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban.

I am not worried about it. Hopefully I never have to show it to anyone judging a beauty contest.

Ouch! That was cold (but pretty acurate.) Guess it's time to go shopping for a new instrutor for when my renewal comes up!! (Just kidding!)
