Trying to figure out the rules here

Post by lawrnk »

So several of my posts, quite compliant with the rules are vanishing. Not looking for any drama, rather just trying to understand.

The most recent was a post about the shooting of Rodney King. It vanished. Similar posts about the redskins player, the cops in the asian resturant, the lady in her store, the man in the gambling room...all remain. I've read the rules and I'm trying to figure out why these posts are dissapearing? I emailed one of the mods about my SWAT post that went missing and did not hear back last week. Just curious here.

I don't know about the posts you listed, other than the Rodney King post. It was moved to the Moderators Forum because it was not remotely on topic and it's a lightening rod for problem posts. We've learned this in the past.

The next time you have a question about moderating, send a PM.

Chas, I think I sent you two msgs. I am really interested in the courses/seminars you offer.
Please help the wounded store owner who fought off 3 robbers. He doesn't have medical insurance.

I don't have a PM from you, so that worries me a bit. My "In" box is a bunch of PMs, but it's not nearly full.

Charles,

I emailed you last month about your Charles@TexasShooting.com address. Any time I used that address it got bounced back to me. I don't know if that's what everyone else is using.

Chas. .... I've sent PM's to people who never got them and to people who did get them. I've always suspected that the system just didn't work correctly and not to trust it.

I have also sent PMs to Charles that I don't believe got received it may have caused a small misunderstanding.
