Just bought a Taurus

Post by Supercat »

I took my wife to the local gun store to pic up her early Christmas gift. after a bit of shopping she insisted the Taurus PT 24/7 Pro 9mm was the one she liked the best. I am a 1911 guy and do not have alot of expierence with Polimer pistols let alone Taurus. Any Taurus / 24/7 owners care to voice positives/negetive expierences with this pistol.

Thanks in advance all

My wife pick out her very first firearm, all by herself...And she picked this very same pistol...I was pretty proud of her for this choice...I trained her well!!! ;-)

I believe this is a great firearm, it functions well, and will do nicely as a concealed carry piece...

Ya did good!!!

I've put around 1000 rnds through my pt 24/7 pro 9mm with little difficulty. Only problem was that Academy's Monarch green box ammo would not feed. It will shoot CCI blazer and WWB all day though. There isn't much after market out there specifically for it.

I have owned a 24/7 and never had a problem. The PT145 though I bought need about 200 rounds through it before every thing started working like clock work. Oh and picked up a PT1911 with a rail and can't wait to try it out.
