purse for wife, or RIA 1911 for me?

Post by htxred »

so.. what would jesus/buddha/heaven's gate do??

i could afford both but would rather make better financial decisions this time around. she's done well with school, made all A's this semester along with full time job AND putting up with me.

but i've made enough sacrifices to treat myself.

hmmm.....

The Purse now will reward you with many guns later.
Gun now will curse you with 'Requirements for Review' of all major purchases form here on out.

Trust me, the sacrifice now will pay off in the long run.

I agree with zero.

My father-in-law says that when you need to decide, the harder choice is usually the correct one.

Being nice to your wife almost always bears better dividends than being nice to yourself.

Buy the purse, don't even mention the gun. Life will be better for you.

Easy!

Get the purse.

But only do it because you love her and want to please her.

If the motive is for YOU to benefit from this gift at some future date...you are doing it for the wrong reason anyway.

Get her the purse, be sincere, and be thankful that God has given you such a wonderful person to spend your life with.

Purse, Purse, Purse......

Yup I know just what you mean. if you don't buy the purse after that, you'll pay...oh you'll pay.

The correct response is "I just want to do whatever it is that will make you happy, baby"
