New guy, couple of questions....

Post by DallasDoty »

Ok guys, when they say 5 yrs from your last arrest are they referring to the date of the arrest or the date of the sentencing/disposition or whatever it is??? Also i was once arrested when a guy my friend got into a fight with told the cops that we took his wallet, of course this was a total lie and 3 days later i was released from jail with no charges! I take it i should also include this arrest on my application, right? And i believe ive already gotten the answer from some other threads in regards to getting the certified dispositions for any case that had occured in the past from the county where it occured.

Thanks in advance guys!

Mike - It is 5 years from the date of conviction, not the date of the arrest.

And yes, you should include all arrests, even if the charges were later dropped, or you were found not guilty.
