Front sight training - and gun

Post by Kalrog »

Has anyone seen this offer?

https://www.frontsight.com/free-gun.asp

And more importantly - has anyone taken any Front Sight training? I know of their trainings, but don't know anyone personally who has taken a course from them. What do you think of the training and the deal?

I can't comment on any of the Front Sight "deals" that are offered now or in the past. I am not a member of the organization.

I did attend training there in December of 2006 and had a blast. I am a graduate of their 4-day defensive handgun program. I learned some things that could save my life and would go back if the opportunity presented itself.

That is a great deal! Full disclosure - I AM a Front Sight First Family member along with my wife and daughter. I have taken the 4 Day Defensive Handgun class twice - and throughly enjoyed it and the training I received. I won't expound on it any more here, but if anyone wants to discuss it privately, feel free to email me.

It's a 3-4 day drive for us Texans, but to me, it's my vacation for the year. I look forward to going every year, and will be going in May this year.

Nobody has ever accused Naish of having a bad marketing team.
One Day 30 State Concealed Weapon Permit Course that gives you all the training, paperwork signed off, finger prints, and certificates to apply for permits in FL, NV, and Utah. Reciprocity agreements in place allow you to carry a concealed handgun in 30 states. Course Value: $500.

Do some people actually pay $500 for a one day concealed carry class?
Limited Edition, Stainless Steel Folding Knife with Front Sight Logo etched in handle. You can't get this knife anywhere at any price. This is a special run of knives made specifically for this offer. If we sold a logo knife in our pro shop, which we don't, it would be priced at $300 or more. You get it as part of this package. Knife Value: $300.

It almost looks like a $20 Byrd Flight knife, right down to the teardrop thumb hole.

Slow poke :lol::

Kinnylee and I left with a mini van full of gas, a healthy supply of cupcakes and pulled onto the Las Vegas strip the next afternoon. I must add that the combat mindset seminar presented in many of the classes is absolutely top shelf stuff.
