Newest addition to my family. (PICS)

I got it used (only 300 rounds through it) for $1200, the MSRP is $1699 so I feel like I got pretty good deal on it. I finally picked it up yesterday and put 500 rounds through it, 200 were my reloads and man can this thing shoot. It made me realize how much I need to work on my abilities.

I was very consistently shooting 4" low and 2" left at 50 feet and was just about to make a few adjustments on the rear sight when the RO came over and casually shot two mags through the 10 ring. Made me feel a little ashamed... but he gave me a few tips and I started doing better, but it was already late and they actually kept the range open for 3 extra hours for me and a friend so we decided to leave. He told me I was gripping way too hard with my strong hand and to use about 20% grip with my strong hand and 80% with my support hand, I did so and I saw immediate improvement, but like I said it was late and I was getting tired so we left.

Oh and its a Les Baer Concept III, I LOVE the gun (and my wife for pretty much telling me I HAD to get it) but I think some time in the future Ill get a two-piece mag well and a Dawson [abbreviated profanity deleted] front sight

That's sweet!

I've been thinking of either a Premier II or a Thunder Ranch Special.

I will agree, that is a nice piece. Congratulations on the find and the purchase. Give us a range report when you can! :thumbs2:

Okay being former 1970's AF Security Police,I'm jealous,I know it's now called Security Services. They definitely pay better nowadays than when i was in.

Yea, they changed it to Security Forces in the mid 90's when they combined LE and security, and no the pay isnt better, but when you have two kids the government shoves a lot of cash at you during tax return season.
