For all y'all to warm up those keyboards with letters to the editor.
Far down in the article is where an armed civilian helps stop the deadly attack, and the job is then finished by another armed person who is not a police officer.
7 Die in Shooting at Jerusalem Seminary
JERUSALEM (March 6) - A gunman entered the library of a rabbinical seminary and opened fire on a crowded nighttime study session Thursday, killing seven people and wounding dozens before he was slain, police and rescue workers said. It was the first militant attack in Jerusalem in more than four years.
. . .
One of the students, Yitzhak Dadon, said he shot the attacker twice in the head. "I laid on the roof of the study hall, cocked my gun and waited for him. He came out of the library spraying automatic fire," he said.
Police said an Israeli soldier in the area then shot the man dead.
. . .
Of course the brady bunch will declaim that the shooting was not in the US and therefore not reflective of any conditions or reactions that could or might have appened here, but what more can one expect.
I'm working on my letter to the editor about this sterling example of the worth of armed citizens in educational institutions, are you?

I don't think Tornado and I could have timed our double post much better, but I stand by my exhortation.
Email or write those letters, folks, keep them short, <250 words, and sweet, well not too nasty anyway, and preempt the anti-gun nuts at their own game.
