Please Stop Me!

Post by nedmoore »

I have a gut feeling that I am going to buy a Kimber Stainless II tomorrow! Somebody stop me and give me some reasons not too! I have a Springfield XD sub .40 and a Makarov .380. Any advice from 1911 owners would be appreciated.

Enjoy your new Kimber. :fire

I don't know this "somebody" person, but I will pass the message along if and when I see him. Until then, :anamatedbanana

My Kimber is GREAT! Don't stop now.

no stopping now. once a 1911 is in your mind it has to happen. once it is in your hand...well, you get the idea.
i bought an ultra carry II six months ago because my combat commander was pulling my pants down. let's just say i'm a happy camper.
these guns need a break in period and that can be frustrating but hang in there. as my daughter says about the 1911's "this gun makes me look good!"
"we've got to keep our heads until this peace craze blows over!"

I am very sorry you but have posted in the wrong forum. If you think you have posted in the correct forum, please review the forum name and then find a liberal forum. "rlol"

Thank you,

Enjoy your Kimber.

I am not sure this was a cry for help to stop, or just a post to get a bunch of folks to push him into it. This way he could claim everyone on the forum talked him into buying it and show his wife the thread to prove it! :smilelol5:

Ned,
Let us know how it shoots. ;-)

it would be much simpler to start at the other end of the situation....try to figure out which 1911 you DON"T want to get. It should be a much shorter list.

You may be on to something. Price automatically puts some of them out of reach. That alone should narrow the list a good bit.
