It is a 40 cal version of the PX4 - so it's 17 rounds in that mag instead of 14 in the standard mag. If it were a 9mm PX4, then yea, it would be 20 rounds.

How do you like the PX4? I have the CX4 in .45, but they dont make a .45 PX4 as far as I know. I debated on getting the .40 version, but for some reason, the .45 was $100 cheaper, and since I love everything .45, I got that instead. It would have been nice to be able to interchage the magazines between the carbine and the pistol though. The action on the PX is pretty cool, huh? Ive never seen anything like it. I might be able to get a chance to take the carbine out and harvest some hogs next month. Itll be interesing. Ill have the 30-06 for anything bigger than 100# or farther than 40 yards or so. I am looking for some scope rings to use with an old Lueopold I have, but right now Im just using a cheepie red dot that seems to work pretty good.

Nice stable of pistols! :txflag:

Actually - there is a PX4 45 - it just came out a few weeks ago.

I like the 40 version. I have fired them in 9mm and 40 before. The 9mm is just a so so handgun. In 40, however, I was amazed at the lack of recoil for a 40 cal. That rotating barrel design REALLY cuts down on the recoil. I have fired several other 40 cals (some with metal frames) and NONE of them have as little recoil as that PX4. It feels like you are shooting hot 9mm, that is all.

I have had a CX4 - but I didn't like it. I sold it after 1 trip to the range. The trigger was 2x as heavy as the one on my PS90.
