Para 645 grips

Post by Tactical_Texan_CHL »

My brother is looking for a set of Hogue wrap around grips for his Para 645 LDA. Does anyone have any or has anyone seen them? I can't find them on the Hogue website. It looks like the ones for the Colt Defender would work, but I'm not positive if the screws are in exactly the same place. I don't have the gun handy to actually measure either. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Bump. I know there's at least one other Para 645 running around in here, but I don't remember who has it. Did you keep the factory grips on it? Does anyone know? I sent an e-mail to Hogue but haven't gotten a response.

I left the original grips on my 6.45 as they were the thinest I could find. I did add a strip of skateboard tape on the front strap which helped improve my grip without making it thicker. I believe that the officer cut grips should work though I haven't tried it myself. Call/email Para and ask, always been helpful in the past.

The grip screws on my 6.45 appear to be approx. 2 7/16 inches center to center.

If you need it, I can make an exact measurement.

The grip frame is slightly shorter than an Officer's Model. Magazines made for the Officer's Model do not seat flush in the 6.45 grip frame.

Thanks, Frankie. I e-mailed Hogue, but I didn't even think to contact Para! I'll try that.
