Beretta AL391 Urika 2 12g/26

Post by Mark G26 »

I am trying to decide if I should buy one with the "Kick off" recoil reduction? I shoot mainly dove, quail and ducks in that order. Any experience with the AL391 U2 with and with out the “kick off would be appreciated. I am also somewhat recoil sensitive but not so much with 2 ¾ 1 ounce #7.

The difference is about 300.00.

I'm not sure what the "kick off" reduction feature is???

I have an AL2, predecessor to the AL3xx series, and the recoil is very, very manageable. Before the "draconian" price increases I used to shoot at least 100 round per week at the range, and dove hunt with that gun alot. Two of my shooting and hunting buddies have AL3xx series guns, and they all shoot the same.... sweet and smooth

I went and shot some trap today. First time out with my new shotgun. 3 rounds of trap , (75 shots) and I my shoulder feels like I did not shoot at all.

I am very impressed with this shotgun. Can't wait till dove season......

:clapping:

you're gonna love the Beretta in the field. I carry my AL2, and a CZ Ringneck SxS when I make the september trip "out west". Even though the CZ is a really nice looking gun, and the two different choked barrels are convenient (sometimes), the Beretta will smoke the doves.

congrats on a happy union
