Lower Economy=More guns for Sale?

Post by Dan20703 »

Is it my imagination or do you all see more guns for sale on all the web sites. Is this due to a downturn in the economy or higher gas prices?
Or am I just hoping someday to run across a great deal on a gun?

Once I get on my feet and caught up I will be selling and buying, assembling, shooting.

I can see an influx of firearms on the market.

Has anyone seen an increase on stock in the pawn shops?

I used to run the shops fairly regularly, but haven't in a awhile. The local shops would nearly always beat gun show prices. I bet you're right about shops getting more stock as pawns turn over.

Unfortunately, the pawn shops around me have discovered Gunbroker.

What does that mean exactly? Prices are what they are online?

My local gun shops sell all of their guns through Gunbroker.

There is no walking in and finding a deal, because they won't display anything.

I don't see more gun deals online compared to the past. New prices at gun shows are cheaper than most used online. Maybe I should try to sell a 2005 Honda Civic for $30,000 on one of those boards. :biggrinjester:

I think so. Ammoman is selling so much ammo he had to hire help. Couple gun shops I know said they can't keep the evil stuff on the shelves. The gun trade is on fire, and going to increase exponetially. But these are not citizens unloading guns, was that what you meant?

Maybe we're worried Obama is the next president so we're clinging to our guns.

There should be no doubt in anyones mind that this run on guns is directly related to that commie.

How can I be equated to an unlicensed dealer ,I don't make a living selling guns and if I sell 1 gun at a gunshow that's a private sale not dealer oriented much like selling cars
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end-to-end, someone would be stupid enough to try to pass them

I'm no fan of the gun show law, but McCain's votes on guns vs Osama are quite different. I'm not stockpiling guns in case McCain gets elected, and neither is anyone else.

The pawn shops I (used to) go to have all the employees snatching the good guns that come in and put all the junk on the shelf.

I don't even stop in anymore..
