The Real Miss America

Post by iratollah »

Since there's some discussion in another thread about women who like to shoot, I thought it time to put up this pic for those who haven't yet seen it.

The REAL Miss America.

Folks The original post was w/o the impure thoughts. Miss America is defending America, the 2nd Amendment, my grand children & you. She is doing it fully clothed & very lady like.

Get rid of the "impure thoughts" posts as humor, it is not, or this will be locked immediately.
If you would not say it to her face w/ her boy friend in uniform beside her dont post it.
Soldier insults will be deleted whether that soldier is male or female.

Having honorably served my country as well I can assure you that my comment was solely in jest, not in disrespect. That said, my sincere apologies to those offended... :tiphat:

Thank you Vanessa Dobos. You are in my prayers.

Yea, I definitely should of signed up to be a Flight Engineer, being an aerial gunner on an ac-130 would be nice. Though they really perform more loading than firing, the officer version of the aerial gunner career field (cant remember the name) get to have all the fun.

I am friends with a guy who went through training with her, she is actually the first female to ever be allowed to become a flight engineer.

Hmmm.........

That minigun looks more like it's mounted in an MH-60 Pavehawk than an AC-130 to me.

I ain't saying Vanessa Dobos ain't real, but the picture is definitely doctored. Anyone who works with digital images can see the difference in lighting and contrast between the gun, the interior of the aircraft, and the woman.

I first saw this picture some time ago on Oleg Volk's site, http://www.a-human-right.com/. Bless him, he's the USSR native now living in Tennessee who started The High Road Forum.

This photo may be authentic, but it's definitely altered.

Thanks for that. Makes me feel better.

The photo is still doctored. Which is absolutely okay if done for the sake of presentation, not false representation.

It's a rare photo in the news that isn't "doctored". Not just today in the electronic age, but as long as there have been news photos.

We used to call it "retouching", but Photoshop has made it much more powerful. Not to mention, easier to cross ethical boundaries and completely alter the subject.

It wasn't that long ago that job would have been closed to anybody but men,due to possibility of operating in hostile terrirory, rescuing downed crew members behind enemy lines etc.She is one of many who put their lives on the line to protect us from harm
