I have a C-TAC and MTAC holster for mine. Same basic holster but the MTAC has a leather backing that's a little more comfortable. It's worked great for me. I would recommend getting the "C hook" to attach it to your belt - the others are a little more noticeable.

*edit/disclaimer - I've only worn mine around the house as my plastic still hasn't arrived - so my advice is worth exactly what you paid for it

I carry my USPc IWB in a Don Hume H715, works really well. Comp-tac makes good Kydex ones & that galco you have pictured seems pretty good as well. Also give DeSantis a shot, I've had good luck with their OWB holsters in the past.

The holster pictured is Galco's excellent Concealable and it's my personal favorite. It does everything a good holster should and looks good too. I wear one every day and I'm wearing one now. I like the fact that it rides high and tight, is a very stable carry and has good retention.

It is worth remembering though that a holster is just a place to park a gun. It's a good belt that brings everything together. A good holster on a poor belt is often a bad choice.

the belt i was going to wear my holster with is:

Belt measures: 1.7" (W)
Buckle measures: 3" (W) x 3" (H)

100% Leather
Made in the U.S.A.

is that sufficient enough for any decent holster?
how thick of a belt do i need?

My P2000SK is my main carry. I use a Milt Sparks VMII for a IWB, I don't carry OWB much so can't recommend any of them. Part of a good carry rig most forget about or cheap out on is the belt. It made a world of difference for me when I got a good carry belt, I recommend TheBeltMan for a good quailty carry belt.

The Don Hume H715 works well for a Springfield XD Subcompact, an HK P2000, or P2000 SK. I have one ant it is decent quality.

I wasn't planning on getting a cheap belt. I was going to get one of those fancy expensive belts, just wanted to make sure it would hold up for chl purposes.

How long did it take for you to get your Milt Sparks VMII??
