I'm going to show my ignorance here but...

Post by pbwalker »

I tried to search for this but can't find anything, which leads me to believe I may be the first to ask this (what I assume to be) dumb question.

Paddle Holsters.

Does the paddle go inside the pants? I have always worn them (around the house) with my belt between the actual paddle and the holster. Now, in my thinking, it would make more sense to wear the paddle inside the pants. But I don't know if that is correct.

Can someone brighten up my dim light bulb?

Paddle goes inside your waste band. Not a dumb Q. We all started at Zero too. If I had not ever seen someone wearing one & seen how it worked I would have needed to ask too. :tiphat:

There is nothing wrong with ignorance. It is curable, so long as you seek that cure. We generally do have a problem with apathy (not caring that you're ignorant) ;-) .

And I know some people that wear paddle holsters between their belt and their pants. It's not the way they're designed to be worn, but, if it works for you, go for it!
Remember, in a life-or-death situation, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

As others already said, the paddle goes inside the pants...

But I know several people that do wear the paddle outside the pants since it seems to cut down on rubbing their hip and therefore make it more comfortable to wear.

If you wear it outside, you do give up a little stability when you draw, but it can be overcome.

It also limits where you can carry on your pants since the belt loops will now get in the way.

Is it weird if I wear my underwear on my head?
