Gun socks?
Does anybody use them ? I was thinking about put them on a few of my mostly safe queen rifles, to keep them from getting any "safe marks". I know that they are suppossedly silicone treadted, but I am still worried about them absorbing the oil from the rifles, like a sponge. Any input?

I've got them on all my firearms, primarily to avoid any scratches or marks when I move them around in the safe for one reason or another. I haven't noticed any problems resulting from their use.

I have used them for years and I think the silicon treatment really does help slow rust down. At least, it looks to me like less rust appears on the ones in socks than on the ones I store without them, but it could be the power of suggestion.
