"Shot myself in the foot" with Self-Declarations...
Well, finally completed my long wait since early March. Apperantly my "self declaration" of a speeding ticket about 12 years ago complicated and confused the DPS people
, I was just wanted to come clean and put down every encounter with the law, but never thought this was gonna drag my waiting this long. Finally I contacted my representative and this trick really worked. He called them like 2 times and finally got a phone call today from the custommer service rep boss and informed me that it is in the mail and will be overnighted tomorrow. Thank God. She was very nice and doesn't know why they got so confused when I stated the date that happened, they should't have even had do an investigation on something this old, but she said they need to conduct better training, specially since they have a lot of new personnel. Well, im out of here...Good luck to the once left in this room, and learn from my mistake.

I did get held for not having a DL also, and was fingerprinted but was released the same day to my parents. Like I mentioned, the instructor told us the more we listed, the better it looked, but as I mentioned before, big mistake
.

Well, every traffic stop is technically an arrest. Perhaps they should do a better job of clarifying, but what DPS wants to know about are arrests that resulted in being processed into custody (fingerprints, mug shots).WildBill wrote:So you listed a speeding ticket as an arrest?
