Must-listen radio

A Houston college professor called Tom Gresham's Gun Talk on August 10 to talk about carrying in schools. She initially expressed the usual vague fears about students getting out of control, etc. By the end of the discussion, she admitted that Mr. Gresham was right.

That was a fantastic call and Tom Gresham handled it beautifully. It was great to hear someone call in that wanted to gain an understanding of why someone would even want to have a gun and to hear her come around at the end.

I think she wanted "permission" on some psychological level. Otherwise she would not have been listening to the show in the first place. It is not broadcast in real time in Houston. You have to get it on the Internet or XM satellite radio.

It looks like the real time is from 1-4 pm on Sundays and that is the same time that is is broadcast on am 950.

Sorry, it looks like it is on KPRC 950 at that time. I usually am not in a position to listen to the radio then, so I listen to the archives during the week.

I don't listen to it then either. I download the podcast and listen to it Monday at work. It's a great show and I've really gained a lot of respect for Tom Gresham through listening to it.

I caught that on XM as I was making a 300 mile round trip Sunday evening. Very well handled!

He's really sharp and articulate and humane at the same time. I've heard him lead some antis to reveal themselves as idiots while remaining a perfect gentleman.
