Academy ammo sale

Post by seamusTX »

Academy is advertising Winchester Super X 12 and 20-ga. #7 1/2 and 8 shotshells for $3.99 per 25. Shotshells haven't been this cheap for a year. Also CCI Blazer 9 mm $7.49 per 50.

I will have to check that out here. Hope it is company wide & not just where there is certain competition.

The flier that came in my newspaper apparently covers all the Galveston, Harris, and Brazoria County stores.

They have it here in Amarillo. Looks like it's company wide!!!

Too bad there's a 10 box limit on the Blazer.

Is the Blazer the aluminum cased version or the brass cased?

Al. There's a photo of it in the flyer.

BTW, they have a bunch of firearms on sale for what look like decent prices, shotguns, rifles, and handguns.

The first time you can wear a Hawaiian shirt and then a photographer's vest! :smilelol5:

On previous sales of the same shotgun shells, they couldn't have cared less how many I bought.

Don't assume they're enforcing the limit, take the time to ask.

It is the Blazer Aluminum that is on sale for $7.49.

I went to the Academy in Lewisville first thing this morning and bought 10 boxes of the Blazer and a case of the 12 Ga Super X.

seamusTx, thanks for the heads up. With dove season opening in just two weeks I need to add to the shot shell inventory. I have not received the new sale flyer and was just in Academy on Tuesday of last week. Guess there will be two cases each of 12 and 20 in my future. :thumbs2:

Went by the Academy on 59 & Shepherd at lunch and bought 3 cases of 20 and 3 cases of 12. There is plenty of ammo on the floor and I did not get chided for going over the two case limit. Between clays and the first half of the dove season I should be set. :woohoo
