Insight XTI Procyon (strobing weapon light)

Post by lawrnk »

Well, these are pretty new and I've not found much on them. I was considering the surefire, as I have a flashlight by them that is outstanding. However, the x300 is pricey at almost 250.00
The x400 is 425.00 or so  Thats a a new pistol round these parts!!

I bought this new weapon light from botach for 112 bucks, and I really like the strobing ability. I understand the light switch for strobing takes adjustment, but I'll report back. Any owners?

You mean Botach actually has them in stock? I've had one on backorder since March. :mad5

Wonder why they haven't shipped me mine?

Whoops. Yes, they shipped mine same day. Might want to call them. I'll report back Friday when it arrives.

I had the same experience with them on a back order. After months of waiting, then recontacting them and waiting for an unsuitably long time, they finally "remembered" my order and shipped it.

That was my last purchase from them. The prices were good, but the level of service made dealing with them too expensive for me.

I've heard their service leaves much to be desired. Then again, I hadthe worst possible service with J&G in my life, yet many of you like them. Tomato, Tomato I suppose. I'll report back when I get it.

This light is outstanding! Grab one while you can get one in stock! I will try to do a video with it this weekend.

Not gotten around to a video, but this thing is fantastic. Blindingly bright, the strobe function is very disorienting, and the quality is top notch. Even as a huge surefire fan, I cannot see paying for the name when this great weapon light is around.

ETA: This went on and off my glock 22 like a glove. 2 seconds on, no adjustments, and same off.
