No bullets

Post by longtooth »

Fellow that works w/ the wife came in from lunch today & said there were no bullets anywhere in town. Dont know how many stores he went to or called but I know he did not look in my gun room. "rlol"

Today is not the day to go buy some bullets. :patriot:

Even if you reload you still have to buy bullets... unless you cast your own.

I mine my own lead and copper, and tin, then I dig up the ingredients for my own gunpowder, I then combine everything to fill my needs of ammo, I never need the stores, I AM PREPARED! :rolll :rolll :rolll :rolll

That would be funny if someone did that, and I would be very impressed, but it's not worth the effort. :bigear:

Well, I'm pretty sure I could mine a couple years' supply of lead from the land I've been shooting on, and I do have load data for BP that I've tested in a couple of my guns.

I have enough powder on hand for about 23,000 rounds of pistol and about 5000 223 w/6000bullets,and enough lead on hand to cast about 5000 45 acp or 10,000 9mm

Wow. I couldn't find bread either. I'm never worried about ammo, and didn't notice they were out.

I got the last 2 boxes of 3" Magnum 000 Buck yesterday at the local Wal-Mart,and there were several folks there buying ammo.

You're lucky. The Wal-Marts here in Austin don't carry buckshot at all, let alone 3" Magnum 000.

Actually there were plenty of bullets in town. I really believe WM was probably the only one out.
Friday I was in bill's Gun Trader & they had PLENTY. Higher than WM but plenty.
I will bet East Tex Pawn had ammo too.
