Mill the front sight?

Hi Forum...what's recommended?
I have a Beretta Tomcat Inox that I plan to either sell or trade. But, it shoots low. My gunsmith said that he could mill the front sight, but, doing that might lower the pistol's value. So, do I have the sight milled, sell the gun "as-is", or what?

Sell or trade "as is." If the gun functions OK why spend money on something you aren't keeping?

No. I have one too and it shoots low past about 10 yards also. You will lose money by doing so if you plan to trade it. Also, it could be how you shoot it. I found mine was low all the time. Then I realized it was because I wasn't getting a proper grip on it and was actually pushing down while pulling the trigger. It took getting a P3AT and doing the same thing to realize such small guns require more finger pull and attention to my fingers that were not on the gun. When I squeezed, the DA trigger especially, it brought the POA down just before the hammer released. Try looking at that if you shoot it again.

I would sell my Tomcat too but my wife took it over and she won't let me sell it.

Thanks for the replies. Not spending any more money on a gun that I'll probably not keep makes sense, MoJo. I appreciate the shooting tips, shootthesheet. I may try them and see if it makes a difference. But, I've pretty much made up my mind to sell/trade it anyway...might help finance a 1911.
