building steel reaction target stands

Post by solaritx »

The West Houston IDPA club is currently looking to get a few more reactionary targets. We are looking for someone that can build these for us. We have the plans of what we want. These are made of steel, so need fabrication and welding skills.

Anyone?

I've got a friend who is a welder and has experience fabricating all types of stuff. He does frequent odd jobs, and I could see him doing something like this. Do you require someone local to Houston, or would someone from Austin be acceptable?

Hey Gary

Can you post a link to the plans?
Reasonable gun control is hitting your target with the first shot.

good site for many targets and other stuff. Go to the left and scroll down.

The one we want to build is the Reed Reactive Target.

My friend says he can do it. I've e-mailed him your e-mail address, so you should hear from him soon.

Just an update: He looked at the plans and said he can certainly build them. I just found out from him that he misplaced (accidentally deleted) the e-mail I sent to him with your e-mail address, so he should be contact you soon. Sorry about the delay. I'll PM you his e-mail address as well.
