Headstart?

Post by getamap »

I'm not quite 21 yet, but I'm interested to know, is there anything (paperwork, etc) that I can start filling out before I turn 21? When looking at the DPS site it seems that there are several steps you must take online (including registering and giving out some vital info) before you can receive actual paperwork.

Am I just thinking about it too much? :drool2:

There is no reason why you can't go ahead and fill out an online application, as long as you are at least 20. The online application is good for 1 year.

You could also go ahead and take the class. The TR-100 (class certificate of completion) is good for 2 years. You just need to wait until you are 21 to sign your affidavit of eligibility and get it notarized.

Then you would have your package all ready to drop in the mail on your happy 21st birthday.
