S&W 642 or M360?

Post by ScubaSigGuy »

Looking for a BUG revolver and considering these choices. I like the no-lock option on the 642. I would love a 9mm J-frame, but they are pretty hard to come by.

Any opinions on these two models?

Thanks.

I have been very impressed by the S&W Airweights. Would be a good choice IMO! :thumbs2:

I have a 642 and carry it often. I would rather not have to deal with moon clips to reload.

I'll cast my vote on the 642. Love mine, it's one I'll never part with.

SSG I would vote for the 642. I had the 9mm and was not impressed. You have held my 340PD. I know it has the lock, but I have put a couple of hundred rounds through one of them and have had not problems. I have put 100 rounds through the other with not problem. I did not like the lock, but now it does not bother me. They are very light.
