Ammo question

Now that I've had the Taurus 24/7 to the range, I was getting ready to load it with carry rounds. I noticed that in my stock of 9mm, I have Speer GDHP 124 gr +P, or Winchester 9mm Luger 147 gr SXT, or Speer GDHP 147gr. The Taurus manual shows the pistol certified for 124 GR FMJ @ 1225 FPS. It goes on to relate that Plus P ammo "may" affect the useful life of the firearm or exceed the margin of safety built into many pistols and "could" be dangerous. I'm going to load it with the Speer 124 Gr GDHP +P or should I?

If you don't plan on running thousands of rounds of +P, then you'll be fine. I run the 124grn +P gold dots through mine with no problems.
