The driveway for check-in is located at the west face of the building with a drive-under awning with support pillars at both north and south ends (at the western corners, farthest from the building). The sign is located on the interior side (facing south) of the north pillar, a location only really visible if you were driving up to check in - the general parking lot is west and north of the entrance. While the sign is of legally enforceable size, it does not meet the "is displayed in a conspicuous manner clearly visible to the public." criteria of TPC 30.06. This is the first 30.06 sign I've seen in Austin in quite a while. While the enforceability of such a sign is questionable, it may not be clear-cut enough to explain definitively to an LEO. I will not be doing business with Embassy Suites as long as they have the sign up.
I got a few photos, though not of great quality. There was a security guard loitering in the area, and I didn't really want to draw attention to myself - so I didn't get a close-up of the sign itself. Note that these were taken with a wide-angle lens, with greater view for detail in the periphery than the eyesight of a human.
A view of the front of the building (facing east), for perspective:

A view of the front drive area facing south, where people generally enter.

A view of the front drive area facing north, where you would drive in to check in for bellhop service. Sign is partially visible

A view from underneath the awning, facing north, sign is visible at the left.
