I would not want it on the news with my picture stating my CHL status. :headscratch He gave up a lot of his anonymity, if he was concerned with to start with.

I'm not callin' this guy a media hound or attention getter, but if it were me, I certainly wouldn't have wanted to go on camera considering what I had done, and/or was prepared to do.
I would be afraid that I would be viewed as a "wannabe" cop/swat. too easy to get that label, too hard to discount it.

*left turn*
when watching the video, I think it was interesting watching the SWAT guys climb over the counter and proceed.
anyone know what all that smoke was at the very end? maybe from a flash bang?

the amount of gunsmoke from the earlier shots fired was interesting. You don't really think about it at the range squeezing off rounds.

Looks to me that SWAT discharged tear gas or a flash grenade at the end. They had no way to know the robber was dead at the time, so I assume they were trying to incapacitate him. That's my guess, not that I really know anything about SWAT tactics.
Some call me Fred, some don't.

Neither would I. He didn't say anything inflammatory, but if your name is plastered on TV, all it takes is a couple of key-strokes to find out where you live nowadays.

I'm guessing a flash-bang, in case the guy was playing possum.

Seems like they should have had the security guard who was shooting / shot on the interview...

I wouldn't want to be on TV just because I don't want to be on TV; I don't care what some leftist wacko and his misunderstanding of amatuer pop psychology is going to think of me.

The last thing I would want to do is give an interview to the media....especially on tv! :nono:

My Father always told me,; "keep your face off of the TV and your name out of the paper and you'll be fine".
I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961
