Unfortunately, there are some states who make it incredibly difficult for citizens to go about their business with a Concealed Carry License. Nebraska is one example. There is no binding preemption, and they recognize no one else's licenses. The state is littered with cities and counties that have varying degrees of ridiculous restrictions, including some that ban carry entirely. This is a particular concern of mine, as most of my extended family resides in Nebraska.

Concealed carry is still in its infancy there, though (only passed in 2006) - so perhaps we'll see some progress. A recent opinion by the state AG ruled against the restrictive counties/cities, but is non-binding. I would like to think that momentum towards sanity is increasing, though I'm not as familiar with CCW activism there as I am here.

Most places don't have it as good as Texas.
